UPDATED SPRING CALENDAR:
LAST DAY OF SCHOOL:
Our Girls on the Run team participated in a 5K race in Concord on June 1. There were over 3,000 girls running from teams all over New Hampshire. Girls on the Run is a national non-profit organization, that designs programming to strengthen third- to fifth-grade girls’ social, emotional, physical, and behavioral skills to navigate life experiences successfully. Thank you, volunteer coaches, Adine Aldrich, Kaitlyn Morris, Krystal Buckley, Nicole Jackson, and lead coach Kristen Seitz!

Mrs. Morris has planned a great morning filled with fun and active games. Students should bring a change of clothes (chances are they could get wet - we have some water games planned). If it is sunny on Friday, they should bring a hat and should have sunscreen applied before arriving to school. And of course, they should bring a water bottle and a snack. We have also partnered with the PES PTO to bring the Kona Ice Truck to school that day for a cool, icy treat in the afternoon. If your child cannot have, or you prefer that they don't have, an icy treat from Kona Ice, please reach out to me so we can still do something special. We are looking forward to a great day!

Thanks to all the students who participated in the Reading With Ribby Challenge. Over 100 students completed the challenge and will be receiving a T-shirt and a family pass to a Keene Swampbats baseball game. The game is scheduled for Wednesday, June 12, at Alumni Field in Keene. Parents are asked to arrive by 5:15 p.m. at the latest. Parking lots fill up fast, and the parade will start promptly at 5:50 p.m. We don't want anyone to miss the parade! Students will meet their schools behind the big green grandstands. Look for the PES sign and banner!
